Overview

Discover Venice and its lagoon in a fun and unconventional way, connecting with the soul and the secular traditions of the city. On board of typical venetian boats, known as the “Batea da Fresco” and the XVIII century “Gondola”, you will live the unique experience of learning the techniques of the venetian rowing and navigating through the canals of the city, as venetians used to do back in the centuries. Gloria Rogliani, champion of the oar, will guide you in a tour through the canals in the heart of the Venice, distant from the usual touristic itineraries, until reaching the lagoon and Murano, the island known all over the world for its refined artistic glass production.

  • You will learn how to row standing according to the venetian tradition which dates back to the V century
  • You will learn to distinguish different boats
  • At the end of the tour, you will receive a certificate of attendance at the venetian rowing class
